This new event is designed to be a day-long informational session, organized by MiPA, that showcases various publishing service professionals within our regional publishing community to our members and attendees.

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2024, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Location: Open Book, 1011 Washington Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55415

Format: Pre-arranged one-on-one informational meetings, with breaks for lunch and networking time.

About the pre-arranged appointments: Each hour there will be three 15-minute appointments, with 5 minutes in between. We have spots for up to 12 publishing professionals, and room for up to 80 attendees that you can market your services to in person (and our event announcement emails and highlights of our featured Publishing Professionals will go out to MiPA’s email list and social media accounts).

Open networking will take place throughout the day as well, with extra time at the end of the event for networking.

Cost for publishing professional (up to 12 spots for vendors): $150 to secure spot in event, plus discounted rate of $79 for new Publishing Professional level membership (normally $99). Total: $229 (includes one year of Publishing Partner membership).

Requirements: Participating vendors must have someone to staff their booth during the entire event and provide information to the attendee visiting your booth (i.e. a printed handout with helpful information about your industry).

MiPA will promote each vendor separately, with a link to sign up ahead of time for one-on-one meetings.
